This week, Apple released a batch of critical security updates for their IOS and MacOS devices and systems. These patches address zero-day exploits that have been reportedly used in the wild. Patching your systems, both company and personal, is critical to maintaining security of your systems. Unfortunately, Apple tagged the patches as “unknown” severity level, and the patches didn’t get pushed out this week as was expected.
What do I need to do?
Manual action is required for mobile devices. Specifically:
- Anyone with a personal iPhone or iPad should ensure that they install the latest updates as soon as possible.
